Let me introduce you to the fastest pizza crust I have ever done, no need to wait for the dough to rise. It’s also the healthiest of the pizza crusts, aside from the cauliflower crusts. No, it doesn’t exactly taste like a fluffy crust if that’s what you’re expecting but definitely satisfies the pizza cravings.
Almond Crust Pizza

Low carb, paleo and vegan pizza crust for when these serious pizza cravings hit! Customize your favourite toppings and savour every bite!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup tapioca flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed with 3 tbsp water (flax egg)
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- Spices, I love Herbamare spice
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients together in the mixing bowl.
- Start mixing with the spoon until the ingredients all incorporated together, switch to kneed with your hand until it becomes ball of dough.
- Take your pizza pan and line a parchment paper on top.
- Press the dough with your hands or with the roller, to flatten it out to about 1 inch thickness.
- Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, remove from the oven.
- Add your favourite toppings and bake for 5 to 10 minutes again.
Notes
- I chose homemade pesto as a base topped with arugula, mushrooms, peppers, olives, red onions and tomatoes with some goat feta. But you can do vegan cheese or no cheese at all!
- The crust can be also used as a flat bread, to dip into a hummus or any other spreads.
